Biocatalysts and Natural Peptides Group
One of the groups of Peptide Research Institute is the group of biocatalysts and natural peptides, which was created due to the importance of addressing the position of natural peptides on the one hand and the efficiency of using biocatalysts in chemical reactions on the other hand.
In this regard, since peptides are present in various tissues of the body with diverse biological properties and many of them have important direct effects on vascular smooth muscle and smooth muscle in other areas. One of the main goals of this research group is based on the synthesis of new peptide analogues and the study of their medicinal properties.
On the other hand, considering that the use of biocatalysts to perform chemical reactions is very old and many chemical transformations are performed using them faster, with higher interest rates and lower prices. The use of biocatalysts for the synthesis of various drug compounds is another task of this research group.
In addition to the points mentioned above, another goal of this group is to identify and use biomolecules in organic synthesis, the output of which can lead to the production of pharmaceutical products and biologically active compounds.
